Synopsis

Sato, a driver working a shady side job, follows instructions from an anonymous figure and sets off for a destination with three men in his car to carry out a plan. Some minutes later, the men rush back, but one of them, utterly terrified, freezes in the car… The horror of ordinary men’s lives crumbling is vividly portrayed in a single, uninterrupted shot.

Biography

Born in 1995 in Tokyo, he studied theatre at Obirin University. After graduating, he began his career as an actor. In 2022, he landed his first leading role in J005311, directed by Hiroki Kono, main character in Yellow Stain. The film won the Grand Prix at the 2022 PFF.
