Synopsis

Aloma i Mila are two women who meet in the fantastic lights of summer cities of the coast of Valencia. While in search of the unknown, they find each other instead and help cope with the loneliness and strangeness of the surroundings. A choreographic film that explores the emotion and relationship of two young adults through their bodies in space in a delicate and playful story about intimacy. 

Biography

Tuixén Benet is a filmmaker and choreographer based out of Barcelona and Los Angeles. Awarded for her Exceptional Input for Dance Cinema at Choreoscope, Barcelona 2020, Aloma i Mila and the short Lazarus hold many other nominations and awards in festivals such as La Cabina, Cucalorus, Dance Camera West and CineDans. Now in post-production of her first feature Clausura, she graduated in Choreography at the Institut del Teatre de Barcelona and earned an MFA in Film Directing at the California Institute of the Arts.
