Synopsis

Portrait of a commuter town in the suburbs of Paris, whose daily life was disrupted by the settlement of a Roma camp on an abandoned piece of land.

Biography

Maureen Fazendeiro (b. 1989, Créteil – France) is a French filmmaker and scriptwriter based in Lisbon. She studied literature, art and cinema at Denis Diderot University in Paris. Her short films Motu Maeva (FID 2014) and Black Sun (TIFF 2019) were shown at international film festivals, film library and museums.
