Synopsis
After a life of wandering, Alune has settled down in the heart of the Paris suburbs. There, amid the remnants of old gardens and the construction sites of the Grand Paris project, he is building his own world: a forest, a cabin, an Ark for himself and his animals.
Biography
Born in Paris to a French father and an Iranian mother, Bijan Anquetil studied philosophy and visual anthropology and directed a series of documentary films in Iran. In 2012, his film «La nuit remue» won the Grand Prize in the French competition at FID Marseille. In 2013, «Le Terrain», presented at Cinéma du réel, received the CNC Quality Award. In 2016, he co-directed «Madame Saïdi» with Paul Costes.
