Synopsis
Brussels, November 1989. Victor searches for Elina, his summer love who mysteriously vanished. He meets Damian, an enigmatic English journalist, and Rosie, a punkish Dutch barmaid. Together, they dive into the night, driven by the hypnotic New Beat fever.
Biography
Born in 1988, Joachim Michaux is a Franco-Belgian artist. He worked for a video editor accompanying the work of filmmakers such as Frederick Wiseman, Bruno Dumont or Béla Tarr. He then studied at Fresnoy and direct Sur tes cendres, a documentary filmed in Beirut. A Sky so Low is his first fiction.
