2025 / Belgium / Experimental fiction / 30′
Directed by Éléonore Saintagnan
Synopsis
Ver-Vert tells the story of a green parrot, the hero of a poem by Jean-Baptiste Gresset, who was raised in seclusion by nuns before discovering the outside world, its pleasures, and its dangers… Blurring the lines between documentary and fiction, the film reimagines the poem through an experimental approach where images, voices, and music intertwine, playfully evoking Ver-Vert’s lost innocence.
