Petar is my ‘brat’, which is a Serbian word that means both ‘cousin’ and ‘brother’. In adolescence age we’ve lost sight of each other. I’ve just known that he had to exile himself from his country. Nowadays he lives and works in a Factory in the suburbs of Munich far away from his mother and his country. So I suggested them to join me at my home in Corsica for a new reunion, where the landscapes made me thinking of my childhood Serbia.

Born of two Serbian parents in Picardy, where she spent part of her childhood. At 17 years old she arrived in Paris to study cinema in the school “La générale” in Montreuil. After that she produced a short 18-minute fiction entitled BUKA (The Fluss) which traces the story of a reconstruction between a father and his daughter after the war. The film was selected at Ciné Banlieue. Following this, she undertook a DU (Master) in partnership with the G.R.E.C. and IUT di Corsica where she directed PETAR (47min).
